Skedda bookings

Billy Hills the owner of Apollo Audio studios spent the majority of his time on the phone. From taking bookings and answering questions to managing cancellations and payments over the phone. Billy inherited the studio's operations, which included using Skedda to take bookings and managing the studio's online presence. They found that Skedda was not a good fit for the studio, and they decided to use Jammed instead.

[Skedda and Wix] were impractical for the sort of business that we run because it would typically allow you to book a person rather than pick the room - so if you're running a hairdressing salon for example it's okay but if you're running a recording studio doesn't work.

Jammed allows Apollo Audio to take online bookings from customers instantly using up to date room availability. Customers are able to come directly to the Apollo Audio website, pick a room date and time and then pay for their booking in minutes.

The fact that it's purpose built for rehearsals and studios rather than just being a booking system, it seemed perfect to use. It's tailor-made for it.

This is not only great for the Appollo Audio, but much easier for their customers who are able to look up availability and book their space without having to call within opening hours or wait for emails to be replied.

Perfect for reducing your admin

Before using Jammed, Billy had to manage the studio's booking calendar manually. This required him to manually update the booking system and central calendar, take phone calls and handle payments. This was a time consuming process, and it was not easy to manage.

For new bookings it's probably 80% online now, and with regular bookings like bands coming every week, we set them up once and I know they'll be in but if they're new then just send them online

There was also no guarantees that bookings were up-to-date. Since using Jammed however, Billy has been able to manage the booking calendar and payments centrally, and reduce his admin load by 30% overnight.
